Tour Introduction
Numerous rivers and canals, many small bridges over flowing water, and famous gardens combine to make Suzhou one of the most scenic cities in southeast China. Macao Polo thought it could rival his own hometown in Italy and called it "Venice of the Orient."
Our guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning and drive for two hours to Suzhou. Upon arrival we will visit the Panmen City Gate and have a cruise on the Grand Canal. After lunch we will visit Taipingfang Mosque and the Garden of the Master of the Nets. Of course the silk factory will be included in the tour in the afternoon.
