Located in Chaoyang Districy, Beijing, the Olympic Green, also named Olympic, occuupies a total area of 11.59 square kilometers. The Olymic Green is a new style of urban area which concentrated reflects the three major idea of "Tecnology, Green, Humanity" and blends multiple functions, including office, commerce, hotel, culture and conference, ect. Since the 29th Olympic Games in 2008,the Bird's Nest, the Water Cube, the Olympic Village, the Main Press Center (MPC), and the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) are a few of the important buildings and regions for the Olympics that can be found at the Olympic Green.
 
Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest)
Located in south of the Olympic Green, the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the "Bird's Nest", is one of the landmarks for the Beijing Olympic Games. As for main facility in the 29th Olympic Games in 2008, it holds some 91,000 spectators for the opening and closing ceremonies.
 
Beijing National Aquatics Center (Water Cube)
The Beijing National Aquatics Center or "Water Cube" lies in the south of central area of Beijing Olympic Park, which hosts the swimming, diving and synchronized swimming events. It will be the site of the curling competitions during the 2022 Winter Olympics.
 
Beijing National Indoor Stadium (the Fan)
The Beijing National Indoor Stadium is one of main facilities for the Olympic Games, which holds the handball, artistic gymnastics and trampolining events. With a capacity of 19,000, it is the main indoor arena used during the Games. It is nicknamed the Fan due to its design resembling a traditional Chinese folding fan.
